Is 2/3 greater than or less than 2/6?

Actually it is very easy to understand that which fraction is greater than each other.

Even a nursery school student can understand it with the help of this method given below.

For this you just remamber one thing that what number is big in down side mean numerator.

Which numerator has big number that velue will be less than other.But remember the denominator should be same in every term.

For example

2/3 and 2/6

Here is

In 2/3,

Denominator = 2

Numerator = 3

In 2/6

Denominator = 2

Numerator = 6

Because 2/6 has larger numerator and denominator is same in both term.It means 2/6 is less than 2/3 and in other words 2/3 is greater than 2/6.

Similarly 3/5 is less than 3/2 and 5/7 is less than 5/2.
